The cornerstone of Wrkdn is the AI Agent, or “AI Worker.” To create one:

  1. Open the AI Workers menu on the left.

  2. Click the + button.

  3. You will be taken to a simple interface for creating a new AI Worker.

AI Worker Properties

When creating your AI Worker, you’ll see several fields to configure. Some of these can also be prepared in the Data section (found in the left menu). Here’s a quick overview:

  • Instructions
Short text or guidelines that help your AI Worker stay focused. For example, you might write:

We operate exclusively in the B2B market sector.
This helps shape the AI Worker’s scope and responses.

  • Knowledge
A large, static repository of information you want the AI Worker to have. This is not a real‐time data integration but rather a library of company knowledge, SOPs, or documents that your AI Worker can draw upon.

  • Restrictions
Rules that limit certain actions or behaviors. Setting up restrictions can help ensure compliance and protect your organization by preventing the AI Worker from performing actions outside its intended scope.

  • Integrations
Enables your AI Worker to connect to various third‐party services. For details on how to set up specific integrations, see our Integrations article.

Finishing Up

After filling out the required fields, click Create (or Save). You can then test your AI Worker by selecting it and opening the chat window in the right‐hand column. That’s it—you’ve successfully created your first AI Worker!
