Adding records and documents

Add a single record, bring in many at once, or upload documents and insurance cards to an existing record.

Most of the time, records and documents flow into Adentris automatically from your EHR, and you will not need to add anything by hand. When you do, here is how, whether it is one record or a whole roster.

Adding patient records

  • Add record on the Records screen creates a single record you can fill in yourself. Useful for a one-off or a new admission that has not synced yet.

  • Bulk upload brings in many records at once from a file, which is the fast way to load a roster or migrate a batch.

The Add record and Bulk upload buttons on the Records screen

Add record and Bulk upload sit at the top right of the Records list.

Adding documents to a record

  • Open the patient, go to the Documents tab, and select Upload to attach a document.

  • Use Upload insurance card on the record header to add a card image to the patient's insurance details.

If you expected records or documents to appear automatically and they have not, that usually points at the EHR connection. Check Integrations, or reach out to [email protected] and we will look with you.
